現在は2016年の01月24日の水曜日ですから約22年前の出来事となります。

いちにいよんの日
今から22年前に
初めてメルセデスとして購入したクルマが
Mercedes Benz W124ステーションワゴン
1993年式10月登録 E320T右ハンドルでした。
この時は愛知県は東海市界隈に住んでおりました。
当時はランドクルーザー80という4WDに乗っておりました。
300TEのブルブラ199ボディーカラーに憧れて
シュテルン名古屋南さんにカタログを貰いに行きました。
正直 新車で買う勇気はありませんでしたから、
格安の中古を1993年4月頃くらいから探して貰いました。
ボディーカラーが薄いシャンパンゴールドメタリックの
初期型1990年式の300TEをご案内して下さいました。
3年落ちの９万キロ台 内装はワインファブリックに、
左ハンドルのステーションワゴンでした。
中古金額は当時で500万円を用意してくださいとの事！
好きな色はボディーカラーは当時ブルブラ199が正直憧れでした。
1991年式の199ブルブラですと1年違いで65000キロで約700万円
ボディーカラーが199ブルブラになるだけで
中古車両といえその販売金額も大きく違ってきます。
中古で700万円を使うくらいなら、
いっそのこと背伸びして新車で注文したほうが良いのかな？
と当時はMercedes Benz W124 320TE DOHCエンジン
前期顔が最新式モデルでした。
エンジンがSOHCからDOHCに進化しますから
これが当時は理想の1台でもあったのです。
あれこれ考えて面倒臭いから新車価格870円にオプション85万円と
税金やらなにやらで1070万円相当の新車をオーダーする事にしました。
シュテルン名古屋南の担当者さんは山村氏でした。

スライディングサンルーフ24万円
メタリック199ブルーブラックペイントで31万円
シートヒーターオプション14万円
マットに毛ばたきやらオプションの提案で99万円の追加です。

するとシュテルン名古屋南の担当者さんは山村氏は、
1993年10月にモデルチェンジでEクラスにフェイスリフトするから、
それを見てから決められてはどうでしょうか？
と決断延期のご提案でした。
フェイスリフトのEクラスのスタイルは
待った甲斐がありストライクゾーンで気に入りました。
ということで6月から10月に延期となりまして
E320T 右ハンドルを注文でした。
本当は左ハンドルが欲しかったのですが
日本国内での割り当ては左ハンドルの入庫予定は
ウェイティングスパン ７ヶ月待ちという状態だったのでした。
